13th- 15th October Class VIII goes on an “Adventure Camp to -’Dak Pathar′ for a taste of outdoor life.
   
20th October Shivam Computers organizes a Career Counselling Session at ’Cheema Palace′, Ambala City for Classses X-XII. Later, Sr Marie-Therese conducts a session on “Growing Up“.
   
24th Ocober Sr Francesca joins the Community and takes charge of the Primary Classes in Dina Block.
   
1st November “Helpage“- India conducts a special Asembly - to assist the aged to live with dignity.
   
6th - 12th November “Vigilance“ Week to help students learn how to fight ’Corruption′.
   
15th November Henna, one of our students is given the “Geeta Chopra“ national award for bravery.

4th January Bitter Fog! School timings re-scheduled. Classes X and XII have pre-Boards
   
22nd January Sr Margaret Mary lane, RJM, while on holiday at Ambala helps 10 students with their French studies, opted by them as second-language.
 
30th January Martyrs′ day celebrated.
   
1st February 3-day exhibition on St Claudine, our Mother Foundress held in Dina Block, under the guidance of Sr Francesca and opened by Fr Roman.
   
3rd February Feast of St Claudine celebrated: a show on her life attended by students and teachers and by the parents of CJM, Bhurewala. Rt Rev Gerald Mathias, Bishop of Shimla-Chandigarh was the chief guest. The celebrations culminated with the celebration of the holy Eucharist in the Convent chapel.
   
4th February Sr Tara, Francesca, Assunta and Anne leave for Agra for a week-long meeting.
   
5th February The School does its bit for the victims of the Gujarat Earthquake: Relief material is sent through AWWA and a D.D. of Rs 1,09,000/- only through ‘Caritas′-India.
   
15th February Farewell function for the out-going boys of Class X and for the students of Class XII. A flower, a memento and an encouraging smile from Sr Tara was followed by a meaningful message by Fr Valentine CSSR, the parish-priest. A touching ceremony!
   
24th February Ruchka Rawat, student of Class XII is the lucky talented winner of the Hindustan Times “Sing and Scratch“ Scheme. She won a Sansui Music System.

21st July Exhibition of Geography models and Anchor Needlework pieces worked by students during the holidays are on exhibition.
 
15th August Independence Day celebrations. Henna Bakshi of Class VII wins the Sanjay Gandhi award  and the Jeevan Raksha award for bravery. The award was presented by the Governor of Haryana, Mahabir Prasad.
   
9th November Grand fete organized. The proceeds are for the repair of the School building.

13th October Prayer Service held for Ms Meenakshi, our Maths teacher who dies in a tragic road accident.
   
29th November The Primary School visits S.O.S. village at Rajpura and adopts Himani and 8-month old Mannai, for 1 year.

13th January A cold wave strikes Haryana. The D.C. orders the district Schools to close. The grand Musical “The Sound of Music“ was played on our School Grounds against the facade of the Convent building. An all-students performance directed and produced by the Staff. Excellent sets, costumes, choreography, singing and acting. Indeed an excellent achievement !

5th -7th October M. General, Aruora Trallero with Francois Barras and Carmen Aymar visit the School. They visit Sishu Bhavan, M. Teresa′s home for children too.
   
14th-15th August Mobile Planetarium set up in the School Auditorium - a tent entered through a tunnel. The “sky“ of the tent had the constellations. Children were taught how they got their names and to recognize them. An enriching experience !
